The Security & Transport Department takes care of the overall security at the airport. The department oversees and monitors the operation of the security services that are implemented at the airport premises. The department also takes care of the vehicles like taxis, buses and TNCs as they pick up and drop off passengers at the curb.
The responsibilities of the department include:
· Promote high-quality ground transportation services in a manner that is consistent with public safety and convenience.
· Ensure the efficient movement of passengers to and from the Airport.
· Ensure the efficient use of the limited capacity of the Main Terminal roadway, vehicle parking, and vehicle boarding facilities.
